Biggest Update to Website Design... EVER!

- Speaker A tells the audience that squarespace has been overlooked and undervalued for a long time. The AI website builder is super simple and gives the user a title, a logo, and a few questions to ask about the website. - The AI gives users suggestions on what sections to add, what color palettes to choose, and what fonts to use. Hey, friends, this is the biggest news I have seen in the website design world in a long time. There are some really cool tools out there, like webflow, framer. But when it comes to website design, one of the staples that has crushed it has been squarespace. In my personal opinion, they've been overlooked and undervalued for a really long time. So in this video, I'm going to show you what they're doing, which is the latest and greatest in website design. They did something really cool and unique, and they just dropped it this way week. For you and your clients, this is a great opportunity to learn Squarespace or use it for your website. Let's dive into what they call refresh. So what is Squarespace? Refresh. First and foremost, this is a new way to use AI to build your website. But what's different here is every other company, when they say they'll build your website with aih, do it in a really uniform, unuseful way. Squarespace has gone above and beyond to make this work. And the reason I know that is I was just there last week. I actually had the opportunity with about 20 other designers to sit with the CEO for about an hour and discuss what Squarespace is doing, what they're focused on. We were able to ask questions. I was able to ask questions around SEO and the future of what squarespace is going to look like, which was awesome. But they did talk about this, and this feature is really cool. I'm going to walk you through it right now so you get a good feel for it. But basically, let's just do a high level overview of what they're offering and what they're touching on. First and foremost, design intelligence is this beautiful new way of designing your site, which we're going to do. Expressability. They're just giving you way more options on how you could express yourself, which is awesome. And then from there, there's some other cool things that they're working on as well. You could take a look at this page and get a good feel for it. This is actually really beautifully laid out, which is awesome. But let's go in. I'm just going to hit get started, and we're going to go through the process here. So first and foremost, what is your website about? We're going to do design. All right, so we're going to go through this process super simple. What do you want to offer? What do you want to do? We want to sell services. We want to sell on demand video, and we want to build a community, send invoices and also let's do sell memberships instead of community. We could do both. We could always add stuff later, but let's just do these and get appointments. Let's just do all of those. All right, let's build with AI. Now, let me show you this. This is crazy cool. This is the best AI website builder out there. Hands down. Everything else gives you garbage and you gotta try to figure it out. Watch this. This is gonna be transformative. So first thing is this, as soon as it loads here, we need to give the site a title. So I'm gonna do anchor designs. Boom. Then it's going to ask you a few questions here. Brand personality. More playful, friendly. Quirky. Bold. I'm going to do innovative. And we'll start with that. All right. This is really cool. Absolutely. I'm like, I'm so excited about this. So let's start to build a website. First, I'm going to add in this. I will add in the service section. I want to add an about section. Boom. These are all key sections I need. And I definitely want a footer as well. And let's do a digital product section as well. Even gives you options for layouts right here that you can start to play with and get a feel for, which is so cool. And it's also giving you recommendations on what sections you should have on your site. From here, what kind of pages do we want? In this case, we want all of these pages. Maybe I get rid of an appointments page. I just have the contact page be the same page, and then maybe I would add in a course page as well. Then from here, it gives me all these beautiful color palettes to choose from. Just like this. I can come in here and pick a palette that I like, that I want to use for my website. One thing you'll notice too is all these images. I forget the phrasing they used, but basically they went through the process of using generative AI to produce categories of images. Thousands and thousands of images that are going to be flawless on your site. And they all look like they go together. You feel me? Like these all look like they are part of the same aesthetic. This is a beautiful image right here. Maybe I don't need the chair. That's kind of random, but this is gorgeous for the feel. It's really, really nice. So come in here. End up picking the color design style I like. It's recommending this one. I love it. I don't like this background color, but I can change that. I think the purple is nice and we could adjust it from there. But you could go through any of these and get a feel for something you really like and then build out your site. For now, I'm just going to select. Let's just select this one and go from there. It's a little bit more in your face, but that's okay. Then from here, you could start to select font. I mean, I don't know if you feel it, but, like, this feels like a legit site already, and it's being built to my liking with very simple clicks. Like, I'm not doing anything advanced here, so they're giving me a few options of fonts to use here that would really be great for the style site I want. In this case, I'm going to use this one or this one. I love instrument serif. I think it's a beautiful font. I don't know if I'm necessarily a big fan of the newsreader, but again, I could change that. I'll start here, and then I probably change the body font as well. Just like that. Though, I was able to design. Look at this. I was able to design a full website so all the images feel alike. It's not some weird AI generated nonsense. Like, this is actually AI generated and it looks great. I could easily come in here and then click on this gear wheel. And if I want to make further customization, you'll see it just like this. I can click into it and then adjust these even more. And then if I want to even go further, I could customize them even more. So in this case, I'm going to change the body font to. Let's do. What is this font that I've been loving lately? The font I love is called outfit. So Google font looks great. Let's go in. It went to 100. We'll just change that to 400. But you'll see that it's already beautiful. Looks great. I could do further customizations and adjustments as I like. Same thing with colors. I told you, one of those colors I just didn't really like. But generally, this looks really good. It's already sitting really, really well, and there's a lot that can come in here and further customize to my liking. Pioneering the future of design. This is awesome. Like, it looks super cool, very trendy. And you could see that I just did that in less than a few minutes. The power of what I just did is awesome in just a few clicks. So this whole new experience of refresh and being able to build a site with ease, the features they offer you, all of it is just taking things to the next level and it's AI done right. I would really say that a lot of these AI web builders are really hard to use and they don't give you useful information. I know that, like, I use framer a lot. It's a great tool, but I don't use any of their AI features. They're really not the best. This setup and design is beautiful, breathtaking, makes the experience super nice, and you get a lot of other cool things that you can do. As you can see here, this is now the experience we just went through. You can see that these photos, they got just a great selection of imagery. Let me see if they talk about images, photos. No, they don't really talk about on this page, but they did go through it in depth when we were there in person about the level and like categories that they made of imagery, which is just so awesome.
