When doing SEO, does it make sense to go after keywords with 100 search volume per month? I think it does. Here's why. All right, so again, this is a question from Twitter in the, this time Val asked about the keywords we're targeting for the wedding speech tool. So this is best man speech generator, which is indeed one of the tools we sort of one of the keywords we're targeting. And he says it only has 100 times volume. Right. So he's basically saying, how does it make sense? I don't understand how you can have these low volume keywords. And then I think we have 45k traffic per month now. And I'm going to show you how. Right, so this, what he's focusing on here is basically just one keyword. That's one thing. Plus, volume is generally underestimated on these keyword research tools. I can show you this in Swift brieftain, which is our own tool made with the example of maid of honor speech generator. Here it says has 260 volume per month in the US. And if we look at the page that's ranking for it, we will see that in fact, in the last 20 days, this page has gotten 613 clicks. And that's in part because many metaform speech generator has gotten instead of 260, it's gotten 380 impressions, which is, I think we're, so we're ranking on one here. So this is probably about the maximum you can get out of it. But all the long tail variations of it or other variations of it, they also pull in a lot of traffic, right? So even like speech generator, which is a short tail keyword, even that is pulling in a bunch of impressions and clicks, even though this is probably not super relevant traffic. So they're not very likely to convert over. You can see most of the other ones, right? So AI made of honor speech. AI made speech. AI made of honor speech. It's ranking in total for 332 keywords. And then all of them will one way or another pull in some clicks to this page, which gives it a total of 9000 impressions. So from 260, all of a sudden this page is getting 9000 and getting 600 clicks out of that, right? So here you can already see that looking at one individual keyword is usually not a good representation for a page because there's going to be a lot of other keywords on that page. And then again, it's kind of underestimating. So search volume is just an estimation because the closer you can get to the real data is Google search console. So if you have access to real data, that is what I would use to benchmark. And then that obviously is just the bottom of the funnel page. Right? So, made of honor speech generator. It's a landing page that is a very, very targeted keyword. So people that come in here, they're looking to generate a speech, which means they're very close to buying this product just because they want to get their problem solved. And they already know that a generator should be out there that helps them solve that problem. So they're very educated and they're ready to convert. Right. But this is not all the keywords that we target for this. So every cluster comes with something like this where the generator is just one of them. Right. So we have made of honor speech and we have made of honor speech examples, and then we have some other metafunner speech related keywords. And those will not rank for the bottom of funnel page, but they will come with a blog post or multiple blog posts. And then those blog posts will link to the generator. Right. So we're moving people along the buyer journey from a guide down to examples and then down to a tool, which this, in the end, is then the generator. So we're taking traffic from the long tail blog post that have much more impressions and much more clicks, and we convert them over to the tool, which then end getting people to buy and convert as well. And ultimately, both long tail and short tail add up. And that's how we get the traffic numbers that we have, plus the conversion numbers that we have. All right, I hope that was somewhat informative. If you have any questions, just let me know. And feel free to subscribe below to keep posted about future videos. Cheers.
